Keith Jarrett's piano improvisations are in a category of their own.

This is one of many examples of what he might do in a 40-minute period of time -- with nothing in front of him but 88 keys and a large listening audience.

This YouTuber was smart to set this music to a completely blank, black screen -- the more so one can concentrate on this astonishing improvised music.

Jarrett suffered a debilitating stroke in 2018 and can no longer play. Thank God for recordings like this one.
