The saxophonist/composer John Zorn is one of the most prolific writers -- all different styles of music -- of our times.

For his first Masada book, he composed 205 different songs.

For the second series ("Book of Angels"), he wrote 316 more.

Pat wanted in on the project and Zorn gave him some suggestions as to which tunes were still unrecorded, and Metheny picked the ones that "jumped out and spoke" to him ... Ergo, Volume 20!
