Pat's music these days is always completely different with each new release. Gone are the days of slick "smooth jazz" hooks and riffs; now it's intelligent jazz chamber music.

This quartet is so in tune with each other, like they've beeen playing together for years. Pat is nearly 70 and he is recruiting youngsters now: Simcock is 41; Oh is 37; Sánchez is 50 ...
