Probably the first recording for both Metheny and Jaco. (Metheny would play on Gary Burton's date, Ring, a few months later; and Jaco would later play on Metheny's debut album, Bright Size Life.)
There's not a hint of Carla Bley's tune here! It's mostly a group improvisation.
