from: 200 Motels 50th Anniversary Edition.

For the 50th anniversary of 200 Motels (1971), the ZFT put out this 6-CD set of everything they dug up from the Vault.

"Found in the Vault, these protection safety tapes reveal an early version of the movie. Some bits heard here did not end up in the final edit. The music mixes are in mono and were created before FZ went into Whitney Studios for over-dubbing and sweetening. This 'work in progress', how historic, is an interesting listen."

**

This particular track sounds pretty much the same (but in mono) from what ended up in the film and soundtrack. Nice to hear Duke on trombone.

The package includes some nifty fetishable items, like the original booklet (with reproductions of some of the orchestral scores); a motel room key (50), and a "do not disturb" sign.
