Frank had truly mixed feelings about the Synclavier. This composition is from the period when he first got it -- the patches he uses are all quite interesting and varied.
He later said something to the effect that he "missed the mistakes the musicians would make ..."

The brilliant Ensemble Modern transcribed the piece from the Synclavier recording and plays it brilliantly. I don't hear any mistakes.
